The following is an extract from our anti-bullying policy. This policy and many others are available in our prospectus.
DEFINITION
Bullying is not easy to define. It involves the abuse of power in some way and is a damaging process that, if unchecked, can do long term harm to the victim, perpetrator and even bystander. Through psychological or physical means, it lowers self esteem and sense of well being, causing victims to live with fear, unable to break the vicious circle of secrecy and communicate what they are going through.
For the purpose of this policy the following definition will apply:
Bullying is any (repeated) action that deliberately causes fear or upset in another person.
