Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Armadale Academy.

We have put this website together to give you some essential information about our school and to try to answer any questions you may have.

We also hope that it will give you a flavour of the work that goes on in the school.

We want to offer all of our pupils the highest possible standard of education in a safe, caring and interesting environment - an environment in which all members of the school community are valued and their achievements recognised.   We will encourage them to maximise their own potential in everything they do.   We aim to foster their academic, physical and social development through curricular and extra-curricular activities designed to help them gain a wide range of skills.   Our aspiration for all of our pupils is that they should be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and, ultimately, effective contributors to school, society and at work.

We want our pupils to thrive in Armadale Academy and to enjoy their time with us.   Our hope is that we can work in partnership with parents to provide children with an education that will equip them for the years ahead in work, life and play and which meets their needs as individuals and assure you that we will do all that we can to make school life rewarding and fulfilling.
