Armadale Academy - The old Building

In need of some tender, loving care (Or Demolition)

Forty+ years ago the then Lothian Council built Armadale Academy and the building had served the community well since. In 2003/2004 the main northerly academic building was reglazed and the exterior refurbished as shown below. It has now been replaced with the new building.

Great things come to those who wait

The new school is remarkably different from the old building, not only in size but also in the internal and external arrangement of departments and facilities. The new school is a genuinely impressive establishment.
