S1 and S2

Geography is taught throughout S1 and S2 so that pupils have an understanding of basic geographical principles.

S3 and S4 (Standard Grade)

Pupils can take Geography at Standard Grade, either at Foundation, General or Credit level.

S5 and S6 (Higher)

Pupils who attain a good pass at Standard Grade geography (usually credit) can further their studies of geography by taking it as a higher. Pupils may also be considered for a 'crash higher' in Geography (for pupils who have not taken geography at Standard Grade), which requires both hard work and commitment by the pupil.
