Robert
Owen's House

Robert Owens house was occupied by Owen and his wife, Caroline
Dale, after their marriage in 1799 and prior to Owen becoming the managing
partner on January 1st. 1800.
It continued to be the Owen family home until Robert Owen
left the village in 1825 bound for America to set up his Utopian dream
which he called New Harmony.
