The Scottish Railway Preservation Society (SPRS) was formed in1961 to acquire parts of Scotland's Railway Heritage, restore them to suitable condition and display them to the public in an authentic setting on a preserved and working line.

Directions
Bo'ness is on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth, 8 miles west of the Forth Road Bridge. From the East leave the M9 at Junction3 and follow the A904 to Bo'ness. From the west leave the M9 at Junction 5 and approach Bo'ness on the new link road via the edge of Grangemouth and the A904. There are regular bus services from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Alloa, Falkirk, Bathgate and Linlithgow. The nearest ScotRail (BR) stations are in Linlithgow and Falkirk (Grahamston). There is ample free parking for coaches and minibuses.
