Awards Ceremony:
The school's annual awards ceremony took place on Thursday 20th September. David MacKenzie gave his first rectorial address to a packed assembly hall, outlining his vision for the school. The guest speaker, Mr Alan Mckay, the television broadcaster best known for his work on Reporting Scotland, gave an entertaining speech about his career. The school dux medals went to Eleanor Wigham, Laura McLean and David Stark for their outstanding academic achievements.
Parent Council Meetings
Parents/carers are entitled, and welcome, to come along to any Council meeting.
The Council is looking at how to improve communications with the parent forum - ideas welcome! The current website is www.lasb.org.uk and email is forms@lasb.org.uk or just hand a note into the school office.
